Finding your way home can seem like a long journey. I should know because I was raised here in Southern Missouri. I can tell you from firsthand experience that home is where the heart is and my heart has always been in Missouri! I've been on that journey, and I'm here to help you do it too.
I guess you could say that service is in my blood. I left my hometown of Poplar Bluff, MO to enlist in the United States Air Force when I was just 17 and proudly served for 10 years. I earned the rank of Technical Sergeant and was awarded several medals. I am an Operation Desert Storm Veteran, completing a tour in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In 1994, I was stationed at Luke Air Force Base in Arizona and ultimately planted some roots there. Like most military folk, I understand what it's like to move around.
After the Air Force in 2001, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing and discovered my second career - and second passion - in real estate. For 20 years, I helped folks in Arizona find the right place to call home. I sat on the Phoenix Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors, chaired the Arizona Association of REALTORS® (AAR) Grievance and Ethics Committee, and currently Chair the AAR Professional Standards Hearing Panel. (Phoenix friends: Don't worry - I am still licensed in AZ! I partner with RHP Real Estate as an Associate Broker so that I can assist my long-standing referrals and clientele.)
As much as I love the Grand Canyon State, the Ozarks called me home. I am so pleased to be here in the Springfield area, so close to where I grew up. As a Broker/Salesperson with AMAX Real Estate, I bring extensive knowledge, experience, and dedication to the home buying and selling process. I know it can be daunting and I consider it a privilege to walk people through the process step-by-step.
For me, there is no greater joy than working with my brothers and sisters in the military. As a Veteran REALTOR® I have extensive experience assisting Veterans with their real estate needs. Opening doors and giving a veteran the homecoming they deserve after the long road they have traveled is a true honor.
I am committed to every one of my clients and it shows in the relationships I build with them and their families, working for them for many years, and even decades. That commitment has earned me numerous distinguished honors in sales production and transactions, placing me in the upper tiers of my industry.
In addition to my service in the military and service to clients, I care deeply about the community. For many years, I served as a member and Past President of Soroptimist International, a women's volunteer organization that serves underserved women and girls throughout the world. I continue to dedicate my time to military charities and non-profit organizations. When I'm not working, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, traveling, camping, and concert-going.
